GOOGLE ADS TO RETIRE ENHANCED CPC BY MARCH 2025
Advertisers using Google Ads have been notified that Enhanced cost-per-click (eCPC) will be phased down in March 2025. Campaigns that were previously utilising eCPC will switch to Manual CPC bidding.
The email states that new Search and Display Ads campaigns will not have the option to use Enhanced CPC starting in October 2024. On the other hand, current campaigns will keep using eCPC through March 2025. All Search and Display Ads campaigns employing Enhanced CPC after that date will automatically convert to Manual CPC bidding.
